The June Beyond Pixels Show marked a significant milestone as it was the first to be recorded in front of a live audience and on a yacht, no less. This unique setting added an extra layer of excitement and engagement to the monthly online webinar hosted by Web3 & Metaverse Marketing Network’s CEO, Dan Barry, and Nodo Ivanidze, Founder and CEO of Metaviu.

First Live Audience Recording
The June show was a landmark event as it was the first time the Beyond Pixels Show was recorded in front of a live audience. This special recording took place on a yacht, providing a stunning backdrop for the discussions.
Hosts and Networking
Both Nodo and Dan are based in Los Angeles and are known for their extensive networking skills. They believe that in-person events create magic, fostering not only business relationships but also friendships. This belief is rooted in their own experience, having met at a Web3/AI event in Barcelona in December 2022, which laid the foundation for their partnership and friendship.
Planning for AWE USA 2024
After attending AWE USA 2023, held in Santa Clara, Dan and Nodo began planning their collaboration for AWE USA 2024 in Long Beach. They decided that a live version of the Beyond Pixels Show at AWE would be best hosted on a yacht near the convention venue.
Collaborating with Sawhorse Production
A meeting with Nic Hill, Co-Founder & Head of Interactive at Sawhorse Production, led to the idea of Sawhorse co-sponsoring the yacht event along with Metaviu. This collaboration significantly elevated the Beyond Pixels event, combining creativity and professionalism.
Event Theme and Panelists
Themed “Live On The Water at AWE – An Immersive Yacht Event!”, the June show featured an all-star panel including Eric Kabisch, VP of Design at VRChat, Janice Chung, Global Strategy US at ZEPETO (Naver Z), and Morgan Tucker, Head of Product, Creator at Rec Room.
Beyond Pixels IRL
Dubbed “Beyond Pixels IRL,” these events feature industry-leading experts sharing insights with brands, marketers, and creators. Beyond Pixels IRL events will initially be held in LA but plans are in place to expand globally to cities such as London, New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, Paris, Tokyo, Montreal, and Mexico City.
