Animoca Brands and AWS Join Forces to Accelerate Web3
Animoca Brands and AWS have joined forces to accelerate development for Web3 products and services. Under the partnership, Animoca Brands has become an official AWS Activate Provider, enabling it to offer to its portfolio companies the tools, resources, content, and expert support to build on AWS.
AWS Activate is a programme that has helped early-stage startups grow their businesses in the cloud. Startups that qualify for AWS Activate can use these credits for scalable, reliable, and secure AWS Cloud services such as compute, storage, database, analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), and machine learning.
The partnership focuses on nurturing upcoming Web3 companies in Animoca Brands’ portfolio, and extending their technical, networking, fundraising and marketing support from the AWS startup team through the AWS Activate programme, including credit, access to solution experts, mentorship and exclusive content and offers.
The companies under Animoca Brands will also be able to directly apply for up to US$25,000 in AWS Activate credits to support development on AWS.
By leveraging AWS Activate benefits, Animoca Brands further connects its portfolio companies with AWS to enable them to build using world-class infrastructure, develop go-to-market strategies and partnerships across both Web2 and Web3 ecosystems, go global and gain visibility in minutes, and strengthen security and compliance.
Commenting on the partnership, Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, commented: “We’re absolutely thrilled to work with AWS as its Activate Provider. This collaboration marks a milestone moment for both Animoca Brands and the broader Web3 startup ecosystem.”
“Hong Kong has always been a hub of innovation, and with AWS’s world-renowned cloud capabilities and its deep-rooted commitment to the startup community, we are now ready to supercharge Web3 startups all around the world,” she added.
