Jack Daniel’s Honours Hip Hop with Spatial Metaverse

Jack Daniel’s opened its virtual doors to the public by commemorating urban art and the 50th anniversary of hip-hop in late September. Currently ongoing, the iconic brand has launched The Verse — the company’s first virtual reality (VR) immersive experience — under its Art, Beats + Lyrics programme.

The cutting-edge immersive experience celebrates the heritage of Black and diverse artists, creators, and musicians using a host of emerging technologies. Additionally, the experience has debuted as part of Black History month in the United Kingdom, which takes place for the month of October.

It offers a showstopping performance from critically acclaimed fusion band Phony Ppl, using a host of emerging technologies. Fans can access the experience across smartphones, tablets, PCs, and VR headsets.

It curates a virtual museum with creations from legendary photographer and cultural archivist Polo Silk, Tanzanian-Nigerian visual artist Marryam Moma, and contemporary realist painter Tim Okamura.
